'How I Recycle' Kids Drawing Contest @ Westfield Oakridge Mall, December 12th, 2009 
 
Westfield's Day of Green Ideas, hosted by Planet Earth Recycle, was a great success. We were delighted to be a part of such an important day 
dedicated to bringing environmental awareness to Westfield and its patrons. We would like to thank everyone who visited us, and all of the children 
and their parents who participated in our drawing contest. Our kids drawing contest was a lot of fun, and it was based on a very important theme: 
'How I Recycle'. We had almost 20 contestants of all ages (12 and under), and a few truly embraced the theme by incorporating nature scenes, 
recycle bins, happy people, and even solar power!

Each Drawing includes the artist’s first and last initial for your reference. 
We will be selecting the winner on Sunday, December 20th at 7PM. 

 
  1st Place Winner  - Melissa & Doug Deluxe Drawing Easel 
 
2nd Place Winner – Green Toys Recycle Truck (made from 100% Recycled Milk Bottles) 
 
3rd-7th Place contestants will receive a $10 Gift certificate, 
courtesy of Recycle Partner ABC Toys in The Great Mall, Milpitas.
